Hour Glass
Hourglass... a word usually associated with the Kardashians in modern news but what does having an hour glass figure really mean?Â
Â
You have a beautifully defined waist and your bust and hips are very well balanced. You are seen by other woman as a picture of balance and harmony.
Â
Tip: Show your shape proudly by dressing the top and the bottom of your body proportionally, while your waist is being accentuated. Flaunt those lovely hips and waist hourglass owners. Your hips and waist is seen as your most beautiful asset.
Â
Over the past year the desire for an hourglass figure has increased massively, even going back to the old method of waist training and tight corsets making their way back onto the fashion scene.
Â
Examples:
Â
Pear Shape/TriangularÂ
If you have a pear shaped body your hips are larger than your bust, but you definitely still own the sexy waist ladies. Your neck is elegant and your arms and shoulders are slim. Again, your waist is your best asset, flaunt it as much as you want and can.
Â
Tip: Add volume to your upper. Emphasis that beautiful waist of yours and de-emphasis the lower part of your body to create that beautiful balance.
Â
Â

Diamond
With this shape your hips are broader than your bust and shoulders and your mid-section is fuller. This means that your waist is undefined, but you have amazing legs.
Â
NB: You have fantastic lower legs and arms so, do what all of us do, FLAUNT IT!
Â
Tip: Balance your shoulders and bust, while creating a waist. You can accomplish this by purchasing clothes that add curves and fullness to your upper body, while looking for pants and skirts that will lean and lengthen your body.
Â

This shape is the most common type known to females. Statistically over 45% American woman have this shape. This basically means that your hips and bust are balanced and your waist is not very defined.
Â
NB: Your lower legs are shapely and one of your best assets, basically meaning you have more than one ‘best asset’ if you own this shape.
Â
Tip: Try to wear dresses that draw in your waist and show off your toned arms and back.
