We want you to perform little tasks daily. We provide you with instructional videos and the offer of friendly professional support. This won’t be overwhelming as we encourage a little of something often throughout the days. We would love for you to involve us and communicate with us so we can assist you along the way. You are as individual as your fingerprints. We know that you will feel fatigued and we know that some movement will help reduce the feelings of fatigue.
We have rules, well more nurturing than forced rules and that includes: drink water, little and often, relax with mindfulness (we will be guiding you on this) and move.
Here at GymCube we provide you with some resources to help you manage your treatment pathway. Part of that is to do little tasks, little and often throughout the days. Sometimes you think you might be overwhelmed by being tasked to do certain chores, but when you reflect on the journey you’ve been on you might actually appreciate how you’ve improved and how your wellness has improved. For example, we’ll encourage you to drink little and often. Again, it might be problematic, there might be issues around the pelvic floor and bladder to start with. But if you drink little and often you maintain your hydration, and hydration is key for your treatment and your medication and how you feel. So we’ll encourage you to maintain your hydration, we’ll help you and teach you with your pelvic floor exercises, making sure you’ve done at least twenty-six pelvic floor exercises a day.
In addition to that I want daily stretches off you. Now they can be huge stretches or small stretches. It doesn’t matter. As long as you can say ‘today, I have stretched.’ In addition to that I’m going to ask you to perform jolt exercises. This is when we put a little bit of intensity through the body, and put just a moment of impact which can stress your joints. This sounds scary, but it’s fun. I promise you. And even if we do a couple of those jolt exercises on a daily basis, that would make me very happy but hopefully you will see the befit very quickly. And then finally, mindfulness. I want to know that as we progress on this pathway together that you are working on your mindfulness practice and working on your relaxation to help you manage your stress and your anxiety through the course of treatment.
And I do that because you can communicate with me via GymCube, but in addition you can send me photographs of views, sceneries, or your change of condition. We always want to know how you’re doing. You help us develop the programmes. So this is why we ask you to use our resources here at GymCube.com, and this is why we encourage you to do daily tasks. These are all positive things that can help your wellness and help you move forward in your treatment pathway. Okay? Is that a deal? Let’s do this.
